Todd Funk
Todd Funk, President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-FounderAs president, CEO and co-founder of PSS, Todd plans and directs all aspects of the company’s policies, objectives, and initiatives. He is responsible for long-term profitability and growth of the company, demonstrating expertise in a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures. Todd relies on his more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Prior to founding PSS, Todd was Nortel’s Executive Director of Worldwide Support Operations for the Nortel/Periphonics IVR Product Line. As an executive with Periphonics prior to its acquisition by Nortel, Todd managed international and domestic operations. Within one year, he transformed international operations to profitability and grew revenue by nearly 70%.
A true pioneer in speech recognition, Todd helped implement the first speech-enabled applications at Charles Schwab. This groundbreaking deployment was the first commercially successful speech recognition deployment in a major enterprise call center, and was the foundation for speech adoption that sparked the growth of the speech industry. Prior to this, Todd worked for Memorex/Telex holding several positions in customer service, support, and field engineering.
Todd attended University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and received a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Devry Institute of Technology.
