Barbara McKenzie

Barbara McKenzie, Corporate Counsel
Barbara brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to PSS, including 15 years handling a wide range of intellectual property legal matters and five years exclusively in the telecommunications industry. Barbara’s professionalism and sense of urgency help ensure that customers experience smooth and coherent business transactions with PSS.

Previously, Barbara was Strategic Alliances and Transactions Counsel for Nortel Networks, where she was involved in the “Rembrandt in the Attic” initiative to license the company’s intellectual property. Prior to that, she was General Counsel for Intellectual Property Law at Lockheed Martin Corp., where she managed the intellectual property group for the rocket and satellite businesses. Barbara also worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she provided legal support for licensing government inventions to the private sector.

Barbara holds a BA in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico, a MS from the University of Texas, and a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, Texas. Bar Admissions include State of California, State of Texas and United States Patent and Trademark Office.
